I can’t believe the day of loOoOove is exactly one week away! We all know small businesses need a little extra love during these times too, so I’m sharing 10 Washington small businesses to support this Valentine’s Day! Most of these are women and/or person of color owned! As you’ll see, there’s something sweet for everyone whether it’s for your partner or your gal pal!
Studio Toujours
My friend Katrina is behind Studio Toujours and handcrafts gorgeous earrings that are modern and lightweight. I have the Modern Hoops (pictured below) in white and love how they’re perfect every day earrings. She makes them from polymer clay in small batch process – you have to check out her Instagram Stories because she shares her handcrafting process and it’s very fascinating!

Theo Chocolate and Franz
Is it really Valentine’s Day without some chocolate? Theo Chocolate and Fran’s Chocolates are my favorite locally made chocolate confections! Theo is definitely a staple here in Seattle and you can never go wrong with their huge variety of delicious and unique flavors! As for Fran’s, their salted caramel is amazing. I could eat a whole box by myself because it’s melt in your mouth goodness!
Grates Board
Grates Board makes these fabulous cheese boards that can be delivered right to your doorstep, contactless, of course! They are packed with artisan cheeses, charcuteries, and all sorts of fruits, jam, and other yummy accompaniments. You can choose from a variety of different sizes and boards. If you get a wood board, you can keep it as keepsake and use it to make your own charcuterie board next time! Dimitria, the gal behind Grates Board, is also offering fun Valentine’s Day specials, including a virtual canvas painting event!

La Vision Events
At-home picnics are all the rage these days. La Vision Events creates totally romantic date nights right in your own home or at a nearby park! Back when I was pregnant, these ladies created a special picnic for Jeff and I in our backyard before baby arrived. It’s something we’ll always remember, especially since we can’t go anywhere these days!

macadons
Macadons has yummy macarons in 20 different delicious flavors – my favorite is the Vietnamese coffee. They have a cute Love Collection with Hello Kitty prints and sweetheart candy sayings on them. You can also customize their macarons with your own image or logo for a truly personalized Valentine’s Day gift! They ship nationwide too!

Roses Ami
Roses Ami preserves stunning Ecudorian roses that can last for a year. I’ve had mine for over three years and are just finally retiring them. They smelled amazing and looked so pretty on my bar cart. For Valentine’s Day, they have an adorable Bear Ami that can be bundled with Macadons and Lacy Lashes for a special Valentine’s Day gift!

Lace and Pearls Jewelry
Asa from the fashion blog Lace and Pearls designs and handcrafts her classic and feminine jewelry line. I have the Josslyn Choker Necklace (top necklace pictured below) and the Brandi Choker, which is heart shaped and would be so cute as a Valentine’s Day gift! You can never go wrong with jewelry!

Trophy Cupcakes
Trophy Cupcakes has some of the best cupcakes in town, hands down. They have lots of Valentine’s Day sweet treats to choose from, including cupcake decorating packages, cocktail kits, and even magic cakes! But I’m a sucker for their classic cupcakes, especially the Triple Chocolate and Red Velvet flavors.
South Pine Gift Co.
Still don’t know what to get your loved one? South Pine Gift Co. has beautifully curated and themed gift boxes for everyone including him, her, dog lovers and babies. I especially love all of the pink and red Valentine’s Day boxes (like the Perfectly Pink box pictured below). They also ship nationwide!

What are some other small businesses to support this Valentine’s Day? I would love to know and check them out!

Beautiful businesses! I’m a little far South, but only bought from small businesses for this St. Valentine. People can be very creative and we need to support that <3
