If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I went on a winter getaway last weekend. It was SO much fun and I can’t wait to share a full post about Suncadia Resort soon. In the meantime, here’s a chic puffer vest outfit from our trip!
I have had a lot of winter outfit firsts this season – I tried out UGG boots, a puffer jacket, and now a puffer vest! It’s been unusually frigid in Seattle and, of course, in Suncadia (about two hours East of Seattle), so I had to quickly learn how to rock true winter pieces this year. I found this puffer vest from Uniqlo and love how it’s not too bulky. It’s filled with ultra lightweight down and comes with a pouch so that you can easily travel with it, which definitely came in handy since I packed many layers for our trip! Even though it’s super lightweight, this vest still kept me very warm and it’s also water resistant! It’s great on its own or for layering under a coat like my Zara hooded duffle coat.
For reference, I’m wearing an XS and this puffer vest fits true to size. It comes in 10 other colors so there’s literally a color for everyone! They’re even available in mens sizes so that you can match with your boo! I got my vest in the red color and it’s actually more of a pinkish maroon. The pink is also super adorable and I’m thinking about getting that one too. It’s currently on sale for right under $40 and I know I’ll be wearing these vests with rain boots in the spring!
Like I mentioned above, this is the first year that I got a pair of UGG boots. Ever since I got them, I can totally understand why everyone loves them. They’re incredibly comfortable and I wear them all the time now. UGG boots are also awesome in the snow since they have traction underneath too. It was perfect for exploring the resort grounds!
