Heart Sweater Winter Style

Is anyone still rocking winter style right now? If so, here’s a winter look with this adorable heart sweater! I actually took photos of this outfit during the holidays, hence the Starbucks holiday cup, and am finally just posting it now, just when spring is around the corner. I’m always so timely, right? lol

Between when these photos were taken back in December and now, I’ve worn this heart sweater at least several more times because it’s so comfy and cute! I love the button details on the back and the relaxed fit. It’s a very cute sweater for Valentine’s Day, but also any fall or winter day since it’s so warm and cozy! This heart sweater also comes in a grey and green color as well. In terms of fit, the sizing runs slightly big so if you’re in between sizes, I would recommend sizing down. The sleeves are also a little long and baggy so I would just roll or scrunch them up.

Of course in winter fashion, I styled this heart sweater with a big chunky beanie and over the knee boots. I’ve had both of these items for years now, and they’re always perfect for making an outfit extra cute!

As I mentioned, these photos were taken back during the holidays. Jeff and I took my parents and aunt to University Village. It was their first time there so we just let them explore while we enjoyed some coffee and took photos hehe. It’s so pretty during the holiday season since they have festive greenery and lights everywhere.  If you’ve never been to University Village, it’s a beautiful outdoor shopping center right by University of Washington, which is where I went to college! This area has grown so much since I was in school so it’s always nostalgic every time I stop by. I remember everything was way too expensive for my college budget but I loved window shopping here. Now I can actually afford shopping at stores like Madewell, J.Crew, Pottery Barn, and Crate & Barrel lol

Hehe I feel you. I have pictures from months ago that I haven’t even looked at. Blogger fail, I know but on the contrary, wouldn’t it be a success for finally posting?! Hmmm….LOL! This is such a cute sweater Tina and yes, I am still rocking sweaters in my neck of the woods! You look cozy with your beanie and OTK boots. Btw, how do you keep your hair from getting flat after wearing a beanie? I’d wear a beanie more often but it seems like it flattens my hair too much for my liking. Not a good look once indoors you know?!

I totally know what you been Maureen! I usually would just bring something to tease my hair. Sometimes, I’ll also bring a small bottle of hairspray, flip my hair upside down, and spray my hair to get some oomph back in. Hope that helps!

You look adorable. Your boots make the outfit just grown up enough – but still playful. I’m glad I’m not the only one with half-finished blog posts sitting on the server waiting to be finished.

I’m glad to still see some winter outfits online. I start experiencing winter wardrobe ennui in January and February. I don’t want to see any more winter clothes and don’t want to buy anything and I’m just wishing for spring. I stop being interested in fashion blogs in the winter because I stop caring about clothes. My return to reading fashion blogs again is a sign spring is coming – but I still have to dress kind of warmly! In NY winter doesn’t end as much as it slowly peters out and becomes summer overnight. There is a good chance I will still be wearing my parka to work a month from now (and it is possibly I could also be needing to wear shorts – if you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes). I am trying to find ways to stay interested in what I have to wear and still see what I hope to wear!
