Summer Navy Blue Dress

Summer navy blue dress
Summer navy blue dress
I am no stranger to weddings this year and built up quite the collection of wedding guest dresses – this navy blue dress included! I’ve been to five weddings already and can’t believe I only have two left on the calendar! This summer is going by way too fast.

For each of the weddings I’ve been to, I wore something dressy, feminine, and bold like this rose printed midi dress, this scalloped red lace dress, and this pink ombre dress. This time around, I opted for a simple and effortless navy blue dress. This was especially fitting since the wedding was barn themed and we even had an epic BBQ dinner. You know I’m all about comfort food over fancy food any day!

I’m not sure what the style of this navy blue dress is called (anyone have a name for it?), but I love that it can also double as a summer dress. It was a last minute purchase from Revolve and it came just in time for last Saturday’s wedding! The dress fits true to size and I’m wearing an XS for reference. The slit is sexy and subtle and only shows when you’re walking. However, if it’s super windy, be extra careful since you may have a Marilyn Monroe moment! I definitely almost had one since the wedding was on Whibey Island and it’s always extra windy near the water!

The next wedding I’m going to is actually this weekend. Yep, back to back weddings with the same group of good friends (we’ve all known each other since at least college)! Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing another wedding guest dress. I literally just picked it up last night and can’t wait to show you this find!
