Hi everyone! Hope you had a beautiful weekend! In honor of this past weekend’s festivities, today’s post was inspired by Easter!

Since I haven’t been able to wear this kind of dress all fall and winter long, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I received this gorgeous rose print dress from Chicwish (who’s currently having a spring sale!). Oh how I’ve missed wearing super feminine and vibrant dresses! Not only is it great for Easter, it also works well for occasions like prom (hence the name of the dress), getting high tea or just to make a spring statement. I think it’ll be perfect to wear this dress for wedding. My boyfriend’s sister’s wedding is at the end of April so I’ll most likely be packing this floral number with me :).

For reference, I’m wearing a Small. I’m typically an XS, but this dress seemed to run large in general. I had to get it tailored, taking in the back and waist area. If you’re petite, make sure to measure how long this dress would be on you. I’m 5’4″ and this dress falls a little below my mid calves. So if you’re below this height, I would recommend shortening it with a tailor.

If you follow me on Snapchat (@justatinabit), you’ll know that I couldn’t decide whether I should style this dress with white pumps like these or with these nude sandals. I ended up picking the nude sandals since I felt like they elongated my legs more (the nude color makes it seem like the shoes were part of my legs). But if I was taller, I think I would’ve gone with white pumps, which would ‘vebe very chic and elegant too! Check below for more ideas on a similar dress for wedding.

    That dress is so gorgeous on you! I’m definitely feeling the same way when it comes to dresses. We had a fairly sunny day today, and I immediately jumped at the opportunity to wear a dress. I really love the floral print and the length of that dress, and I think it will be the perfect thing to wear to a wedding. I’d be interested to find out if you do end up packing this number for your boyfriend’s sister’s wedding. 😀
