Wow, what an eventful and fun weekend! Not only did I have a going away dinner and a Mother’s Day celebration at my parents’ house, I also had a good friends’ wedding on Saturday. It was such an incredible evening with lots of close friends, and this gorgeous scalloped red lace dress was perfect for the occasion.
I actually ordered this dress a month ago and saved it ’til now to wear it. It’s from Come Shop With Love, a new and upcoming Seattle online boutique. I met one of the founders, Sajani, and we totally hit it off especially since we both love fashion and work at Microsoft. After a quick look at her boutique, I was instantly game to partner with her because everything screams ultra chic and feminine. Come Shop With Love has a moderate sized collection and everything is so dang cute – can I have one of each please?
I got so many compliments on this scalloped red lace dress at the wedding. It’s super flattering – hugs you at your waist and shows off your legs and back. The delicate lace details are nothing short of amazing and I love how flirty it is – a small twirl and the dress flares out beautifully. Just don’t twirl too much since it gets a lot of volume and you may have a Marilyn Monroe moment ;). For reference, I’m wearing a Small – I’m usually an XS so I would recommend sizing up. Also, since this dress exposes your back, be sure to wear silcone petals like these here.
