Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Blush Lace Top + Faux Leather Jacket

You know I’m super late in posting this fall outfit because this blush lace top (similar) is yet another find from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I bought it back in the summer time knowing that it would be very versatile and chic for fall.

If I still worked in a business, dressy environment, I think it would look super sleek paired with black cropped slacks and pumps for work (where my girl bosses at? hehe). But since I can dress more casually at work, I went with laid back grey jeans instead. Threw on my trusty faux leather jacket to toughen up the feminine vibes and I’m ready to go!

I’m not having much luck finding the exact blush lace top but I did round up some really gorgeous lace tops below. Lace would be so romantic for the holidays! Also, I want to point out that this blush lace top didn’t come with a cami layering piece. I really don’t get why so many see through tops don’t have this, but if you ever need a cami, this and this are ones that I always recommend. Super soft, affordable, high quality, and perfect for layering!

Lastly, here’s a close up look of my new hurrr! I got it cut and colored (full bayalage) thanks to Gene Juarez several weeks ago and I love how it turned out! This is one of the few times that I’ve colored my hair ever. I wasn’t used to it at first but now I love how it adds dimension, especially when I curl it!
