Hey guys! After Thanksgiving Day, we’ve been moving alllll week long and we’re finally living in the new house! Needless to say, it’s been quite hectic but I finally got a little breathing room today so I’m sharing this red plaid shirt outfit! I have a few other fall outfits waiting to be blogged about, but after those, who’s ready for some festive holiday looks?!
I got this red plaid shirt in the summer as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I knew it would be a staple and you can NEVER go wrong with plaid in the fall. I love the relaxed fit for those days where you just want to be comfy and still look put together. It does run large so I would recommend sizing down (for reference, I’m wearing the XS), which will still give you a relaxed look but not too oversized.
The fabric is soft and lightweight and I always love it when a top is extra long in the back, which means you can wear this red plaid shirt with leggings and boots! If you’re not much of a red clothing kind of person, there are four other plaid options (who’s mad for plaid?)! Plus, it’s $49 and you can wear it many ways! I’m wearing it with a cardigan but you can layer it under a puffer vest or sweater. It would be cute on its own as well! You could also wear a white tank underneath and leave the plaid shirt unbuttoned – the options are endless!
So, how was everyone’s Thanksgiving? Mine was filled with lots of yummy food, family time, and our favorite tradition – a family poker tournament. This year, Jeff won it all (we gotta pay for the new house somehow right?! LOL)! Just wanted to end today’s post by thanking all of you for following along on this little blog of mine. You don’t know how much it means to me, especially since I haven’t been very good at blogging lately. Thanks for all of your support!!!
