I can’t believe Christmas is already over! I hope you all got to spend it with your loved ones. With only 5 days left until we ring in the New Year, I’m sharing 11 stylish holiday outfit ideas. I always love wearing velvet, sequins, tulle, and anything red during this time of year!
Velvet
I seriously cannot get enough of velvet dresses this year. They’re so soft and luxurious! This season, I bought two velvet dresses, each for different occasions. The cobalt blue one is definitely more for party / going out, and the burgundy velvet dress was perfect for a holiday work party!
Tulle Skirt
Tulle skirts will always have a special place in my heart because they’re so whimsical and feminine. I love wearing a tulle skirt on special occassions and always feel like a princess in one! Pair it with a ruffled, striped, or sequined crop top for a complete holiday look.
Sequins
Sequins just scream ‘let’s party’ to me! Sequin tops, skirts, pants, clutches, shoes – you name it, I want it! Here’s a holiday party outfit idea where I styled a sequin top with a plaid mini skirt.
Mini Party Dress
If you’re going out dancing, girl, you gotta rock that mini party dress! I wore this little white dress for my bachelorette party, and it would be fabulous for a wild NYE party!
Anything Red
Red is such a festive color, and you can never wear enough of it during this time of year. Here are a couple of holiday outfit ideas. The first two photos are from my family’s Christmas party this year. I wore this beautiful red pleated skirt that’s only $32! My cousin, Mina, wore a red gown, which is actually one of Mina’s bridesmaids dresses from her own wedding almost 10 years ago!
Faux Fur
When I wanna feel fancy, I will out a faux fur stole! It also makes a great layering piece with your holiday dress. These photos below are from our engagement photo shoots last year – you can check out those posts here and here.

Such beautiful photos! I wore a lot of red and green this month, I think they are such festive colours, although I didn’t wear many sequins or velvet – don’t have a lot of those in my wardrobe!
