Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Rainy Festive Pioneer Square Engagement Photos

Happy New Year everyone!!! I can’t believe it’s been three weeks since I’ve written a new blog post. Things got a little crazy over the holidays. We ended up last minute hosting 30 family members for Christmas, celebrated my birthday, rung in the New Year with friends, I got super sick, and we took two very different sets of engagement photos with two different photographers. The biggest news of all is that I left my job at Microsoft and will be working at a different company shortly! It’s been quite the whirlwind as you can tell! I’ll update you guys more on everything that’s going on soon. But first, a first look of our Seattle Pioneer Square engagement photos with KSL Wedding that just came in last night! Be prepared for a photo overload with lots of PDA and smooches lol.Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, midi tulle skirt, embellished top, sequined top Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, midi tulle skirt, embellished top, sequined top Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, midi tulle skirt, embellished top, sequined top Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, midi tulle skirt, embellished top, sequined top Seattle engagement photos in Pioneer Square, Occidental Park, holiday shoot, rainy engagement photos with clear umbrella, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, midi tulle skirt, embellished top, sequined top Seattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples session Seattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples sessionSeattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples session Seattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples session Seattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples session Seattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples session  Seattle engagement photos at Seattle Public Library, Seattle fashion blogger Just A Tina Bit, Seattle holiday shoot, couples shoot, couples session

All photos by KSL Wedding

Suzanne, who I’ve known since my childhood days and is behind the husband and wife duo of KSL Wedding, took these Pioneer Square engagement photos for us. She now lives in Arizona, but came back to Washington to visit her family for the holidays. She messaged me to see if we wanted to do engagement photos with her. Since our other engagement shoot with our wedding photographers was going to be an adventure shoot out in the snow, we said why not since we wanted photos in our beautiful city too.

It was the perfect quintessential Seattle engagement photo shoot. Nothing says Seattle more than rain, which is exactly what we got lol. Luckily, we were prepared with a clear umbrella. We first started off in historic Pioneer Square where there are lots of old buildings, charming architecture, and brick walls with greenery. These Pioneer Square engagement photos were taken two days before Christmas so the trees in Occidental Park were beautifully lit up with festive string lights. Both of my engagement photo outfits were inspired by the holidays. In my first look, I wore a cropped sequined top with a white midi tulle skirt.

Later, we moved over to the Seattle Public Library to get away from the rain. It’s one of my favorite buildings in Seattle. I’ve shot blog photos at this location before as seen here, but it’s been a while since I’ve been back. I changed into this cute bow dress and black faux fur stole. I love the combination of the emerald green color with the faux fur that’s so festive for the holidays!

Hope you guys love these Pioneer Square engagement photos as much as we do. If you missed it, check out our proposal story!
