Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Easy and Cute Snow Outfits with Hunter Boots

Seattle unexpectedly had a snow storm, and it was AWESOME! It snows maybe about once or twice a year, if that, so it’s always exciting when it happens! Of course, I can never pass up a photo opportunity in a winter wonderland and quickly changed into these two snow outfits with Hunter boots! Can you believe these are my first ever Hunter boots?!

Honestly, I didn’t put much thought into these snow outfits with Hunter boots because Jeff and I both had a bunch of work to do. We took these photos within twenty minutes during our lunch break while working from home, hence why I’m wearing the same sweater, leggings, and boots. I couldn’t decide between the pink merino wool scarf or the neutral plaid scarf so we ended up taking photos of both. In between these snow outfits, Jeff would stuff my coat and scarf in his puffer coat so I could switch out the accessories lol. #bloggerlife #instagramhusbandlife

So a little about this grey cashmere sweater. It is super soft and I love how long it is so that you can wear it over leggings. It’s such a great base layer and goes with everything. It’s currently on sale, which is why I got it in the first place, and comes in SIX other colors. I followed the sizing guide and ordered an XS since I’m usually a size 2. It fits perfectly with a nice loose fit.

As for the Hunter boots, yes, they really are my first pair ever! I’ve been wearing green rain boots forever (as seen here and here), which I got on sale for $30 from J.Crew many years ago. I saw that these Hunter boots were on sale for $90 at Costco and immediately knew I had to snag them! I’m such a sucker for Costco deals lol.

I hear there is more snow in the forecast so I might have to pull out one of these two snow outfits with Hunter boots again! Which look do you prefer?

Both of those snow outfits look very attractive and fashionable – I’m loving the hunter rain boots and sweater styled with the black leggings. The white knit hat looks adorable, and I love the look of thick pink scarf. You look fabulous. Keep warm!

I do like the plaid scarf and beanie too for a much cozier outfit but I love both looks Tina. I don’t own a pair of Hunter boots and what a great deal on these! Enjoy them and stay warm. It’s supposed to rain in my neck of the woods again so I am kicking myself for not owning a pair of rain boots! Hehe
