This pantry was STRESSING me out! I finally took everything out, tossed so many expired items, and grouped everything by category. The best part is that I barely bought any new containers!

Here’s what I did differently:
• Low-profile baskets for small snacks: I can actually see everything now instead of digging through big baskets of random snacks.
• Less decanting: I had way too many jars, and transferring everything was extra work for items we barely used.
• Labeled everything: I never really labeled before, which made it way too easy to forget what we had.
• Ditched the rolling can rack: Cans in the back were always getting forgotten so now I use a behind-the-door organizer where I can see everything at once.

I LOVE how this pantry organization turned out, and I’m actually confident we can keep it this way! 🙌🏼 #pantryorganization #kitchenorganizationideas

Plaid Pumpkin Patch Outfit – Our First Time At The Pumpkin Patch Together!

Can you believe this is mine and Jeff’s first time at a pumpkin patch together? We have so much vacation time racked up that we took a random day off to go. Here’s my pumpkin patch outfit –  you can’t go wrong with a red plaid peplum top for fall!

We were hosting a friends get-together at our house that same evening where the girls and their kids carved pumpkins while the guys played poker. I also got a seat at the poker table later and made in some cash monie$! Heheh But I digress…

We picked out a total of nine pumpkins to take home with us. Who knew it was so hard picking out the perfect ones? We scrubbed them, washed them, and hauled them into the car. The funny thing is that we went to the pumpkin patch a day before all of the festivities began for the season. So we missed out on roasted corn AND pumpkin and apple cider donuts! Nonetheless, it was still a fun and successful day with my pumpkin ;). A stranger even snapped a cute photo of us to always remember our first pumpkin patch experience together!

Okay so let’s get into my pumpkin patch outfit. I love red plaid for fall, but I love it even more when it comes as a peplum top! This adorable top is lightweight, billowy and so comfortable! It also comes in a grey plaid version. For reference, it fits true to size and I’m wearing an XS (0-2). However, I do wish the body of the top was longer. You can see in some of the photos how the middle front part goes barely past the buttons of my jeans. If you have a longer torso, this peplum top may be too short.

Have you been to the pumpkin patch this year? Let me know what’s your favorite activity there!

I love that you guys took a day off to go to the pumpkin patch! Probably for the best since it can get super crowded on weekends. I’ve only ever been once and totally want to go again!

The pumpkins you guys picked out look so cute on your front porch!!

Yay for going to the pumpkin patch together! I never really went until after my son was born. Kind of weird huh? Love your plaid peplum outfit and the colors are just gorgeous! This is definitely a pumpkin patch outfit essential. We missed out on the apple cider doughnuts too! I was kind of bummed because I was really wanting to try one. 🙁 I hope you are having a great weekend so far!
