I’m very excited to be partnering with TREE today to share 5 eco friendly home decor items you need from their store! Stay tuned for details about a huge giveaway (valued at $2100), which I’ll talk about at the end of this post!

If you’ve never heard of TREE, the company offers sustainable style and timeless eco-furniture while also making a mission to give back to the community (they’ve planted over 77,000 trees!). They currently have stores in Tacoma and Bellevue, Washington, which I had the honor of visiting both in person. I loved the Bellevue store since it had a large selection of accessories, many that I got to bring home with me. However, the Tacoma store wow’d me with it’s huge, chic industrial warehouse combined with soaring ceilings and fabulous decor styled to perfection at every corner. I literally oOo’d and aaAhh’d as we spent more than an hour looking at every detail in the store.
TREE’s furniture and accessories are made from reclaimed, salvaged, and sustainably sourced materials. Their style is shabby chic and rustic, which is opposite of my modern glam style. However, one of the main reasons why I picked our interior designer, Emily from Cohesively Curated, is that I love how she adds unexpected and fun accessories to her homes, making her style very unique. Emily came out to TREE with us and helped us pick some lovely pieces that will balance out my modern glam style. The rustic pieces, as you’ll see, add a warm touch to our home, making our house more inviting and effortless. Here are the 5 eco friendly home decor items from TREE we took home with us and will be great additions to anyone’s home!

Reclaimed cutting boards: Cutting boards are no longer used just for chopping veggies, but they’re now a trendy accessory in the kitchen! I like perching them up against the kitchen tiles behind the stove. I got this etu farmtable plank that is made of reclaimed wood and it was perfect for a beautiful and delicious charcuterie board that I made! I am planning to go back to TREE to get more reclaimed cutting boards!

Eco Friendly Baskets: Not only do baskets serve as storage, they are also fashionable accents for the home! TREE has an awesome selection of eco friendly baskets, especially at their Tacoma store. We brought home a few baskets, and as Emily suggested, we put blankets in them to make the home feel cozy, and will also be using one to put a fiddle leaf fig tree in!

Recycled & Organic Throws: TREE carries gorgeous, luxurious throws from In2green. These throws are made with organic or recycled cotton-blend yarns, and the process for creating these yarns saves water and does not require fertilizers or even farmland. I grabbed two beautiful throws that are both chic and comfortable (shown above and below)!

Essential Oil / Soy Candles: Ever since I found out how toxic and bad candles are for humans, pets, and the environment, we stopped using paraffin candles and only use essential oil or soy candles now. These types of candles are healthier since they do not release carcinogens, and I was stoked that TREE carries very chic essential oil candles (a girl can never have too many)! I picked up the Lite + Cycle candle that is 100% made of essential oil fragrances, American-grown soy wax, and a cotton wick. It looks beautiful and smells amazing!

Eco Friendly Rattan Trays: Rattan items add texture and a natural element to our home decor. I love how the eco friendly round rattan tray looks on top of our glam coffee table. I loved it so much that I went back to TREE and got the rectangular version, which is perfect on our dining table!
