Happy first day of August! With only five days left to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (prices go back up on August 6), I wanted to share this fall outfit with almost all head-to-toe items from the sale! My favorite piece from this outfit has to be this ultra chic plaid blazer!
As I was shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I already imagined putting together this exact outfit. I don’t own that many blazers, but this plaid blazer was totally speaking to me. The plaid print will be perfect for fall, and I’m planning to layer it over a ton of outfits. I predict blazers are going to be HUGE this upcoming fall season so why not save on one now?
This plaid blazer can actually be worn as a set with this adorable, matching plaid skirt. However, I wanted a more classic look so I layered the plaid blazer over a lace cami. I just love mixing a more masculine blazer with a feminine top underneath for an effortless look. Plus, this combination will never go out of style! For reference, I’m wearing an XS in the plaid blazer. Because of the relaxed fit, you can definitely size down, especially if you’re in between sizes.
This lace cami was sooo popular during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that it sold out REAL quick! But not to worry, I found two very similar ones here and here!
These Free People ripped jeans are a blogger’s staple. I would size up since they run small. Sale sizes are limited but they’re regularly under $100 and the non-sale versions are fully in stock in different colors here and here.
Lastly, I can’t believe I didn’t own a pair of nude pumps other than these laced-up ones until now! I’ve been waiting for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to get nude pumps since Nordstrom always carries them during the sale! So glad I waited because these are reasonably priced and I love that the heel isn’t too high!

Oh I love the plaid too! Blazers can easily become a bit of a uniform for me as a mum as its so easy to just style them with jeans. I love lots of prints though as it makes it easier to hide baby goop!
