Who else is still shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? Now that it’s open to everyone, I wanted to share a try-on session I did at home! I scored some awesome fall basics and I’m especially excited about the shoes that I bought. I kept most of these items I tried on below and only returned the ones where the sizing was off. Let me know if you have any questions and remember that prices go back up on August 6!
Gibson Ribbed Cozy Fleece Twist Back Top: I love that this top is loose and comfortable. It’s plain in the front but a party in the back with the twist detail! The fabric is lightweight and perfect for fall. Still available in burgundy and grey as well for $42.90.
Steve Madden Rumble Perforated Booties: These booties are super flattering on. I love booties that are not too round and has a subtle pointed toe. They are perforated so I probably wouldn’t wear these during winter.
Leith Woven Relaxed Fit Blazer: This blazer has a relaxed fit and I love that it’s men inspired. Layer it over a feminine, lace cami for an effortless, chic look! I wore this exact outfit out for a friend’s birthday dinner!
Charles by Charles David Addie Pumps: Every girl needs a pair of nude pumps in her closet. These are currently on sale for less than $70 and I like that the heel isn’t too high (2.5″)!
Socialite Tie Waist T-Shirt Dress: I was so close to returning this t-shirt dress because it wasn’t flattering when I first tried it on. I messed around with the tie and raised it to my waist, which made a huge difference. As you might’ve guessed, I ended up keeping it! I’m all for comfy, stylish dresses that can be easily dressed up or down.
Steve Madden Brinkley Over the Knee Boot the Knee Boots: You guys know I loveeee my Marc Fisher pointed-toe over the knee boots. These Steve Madden ones are just as good AND more than half the price. They are skin tight so I don’t think I can fit these over jeans, but they’re perfect for when you’re wearing over the knee boots with dresses or skirts.
BLANKNYC Cloud Nine Drape Jacket: I’m a sucker for waterfall cardigans and this ones drapes beautifully. The faux suede is very soft and high quality. I can’t wait to wear this during fall!
Madewell Ryder Cardigan: I love living in cozy sweaters during the colder months. This one is the perfect layering piece and comes in blush and navy as well. Size down and it’s still in stock!
Caslon Peplum Top: I adore this peplum top but it runs really big. Size down at least one size. It’s also available in black, white, and yellow.
Soludos Espadrille Loafer: My coworker has these shoes and they always look so cute on her. I saw they were part of the sale and wanted to try them out! Unfortunately, they run small so these are going back. I would size up half a size!
Topshop Long Open Front Cardigan: This one sold out FAST! Even though I love it, I actually returned it because the cardigan was so big on me and the size that I needed is no longer available. I recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes (two is probably ideal) so if your size is still available, definitely get it!
Gibson Convertible Cozy Fleece Wrap Cardigan: One sweater two ways! I love that you can wear this as a long cardigan or wrap sweater. Convert it by buttoning up the two sides of the long cardigan to create a loop, twisting the loop, and then throwing it over your neck. Voila!
Caslon Stripe Panel Sweater: How adorable and simple is this sweater? I know I’ll be wearing this to work all the time with booties. It comes in a ton of different color options, but is currently sold out. Just keep checking back since items are getting restocked as people return!
