My two friends got married a few weekends ago on the beautiful San Juan Islands, and I wore this flirty tiered dress to celebrate their nuptials! This dress was made for shaking and dancing the night away!
I haven’t been to the San Juan Islands, which can only be accessed by ferry or boat, since I was in elementary school. I remembered we took a field trip up here to go whale watching and my dad was the chaperone. I got motion sickness and even threw up over the boat hehe #letthegoodtimesflow.
As you can see, the ferry ride is very scenic and serene. It was a great reminder of how stunning the Pacific Northwest is. We took our car on the ferry, and during the ride, we wandered around the boat. My tiered dress unintentionally matched the green railing of the ferry, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture some photos here!
The wedding at Roche Harbor Resort was beautiful and very intimate with the couple’s closest friends and family. It was such a fun, laid back wedding and we were all having a fabulous time. The food was one of the best I’ve had in a while and their friend’s even made a variety of homemade cookies, brownies, pies, and cheesecake for dessert! The married couple had their first dance as the sun was setting over the water and we were all on the balcony watching above, waiving our cell phones with the lights on. It was sooo romantic and sweet. I’m so happy to have been part of their special day!
This tiered dress was a fun number for the wedding. The tiered detail is definitely the star of this dress and made it very unique. As you twist and turn, the dress moves with you. I felt like I was a real life version of the red fiesta emoji! I also loved the fabric that made this dress look expensive and nice. It’s currently 40% off for $45 so grab it if you have any end of the summer events! For reference, I’m wearing a Small and it fits slightly small. I felt like the tummy area was a little tight after I ate and I definitely had to suck it in hehehe.
This was the last wedding of the year for us. We are excited to take a break from attending weddings and continue planning ours!

I’m glad the ride out there was less traumatic for you this time around.
