How I Customized My Couch with Interior Define

We’ve been waiting months for this moment and our customized couch from Interior Define finally arrived! It fits beautifully into our design and is the last big piece of furniture we needed for our living room! Let’s talk about how easy the customization process was with Interior Define!

Step 1 – Browse and select your couch: Interior Define has a wide variety of styles and configurations to choose from. You can customize various sectionals, sofas, dining chairs, and even sleepers! There’s something for everyone whether your style is mid century modern, modern farmhouse, beachy coastal, or modern glam (that’s us)! Choose the style of couch you like the most and then customize the fabric, legs, and even seating style! We decided on the classic and chic Charly sofa.

Step 2 – Order a free swatch: There are a ton of fabric and color options. Originally, we were going to do a beige sofa, but after ordering the free swatch, I didn’t really like it. We wanted a brighter color and ended up with the Ivory Heavy Cloth, which we absolutely love! I would highly recommend you to always order the free swatches. Sometimes the color and texture are completely different than what you see online so it’s better to be safe than sorry!

Step 3 – Customize your couch: Now that we are set on the fabric, we customized the rest of our Interior Define Charly couch. We went with Natural Oak Block Legs and 91″ sofa size. We also upgraded to two seat cushions (instead of one) since we think they would hold up better. You can also add an ottoman for an additional fee, but we skipped on this option. I love that you can visualize how your couch looks as you’re customizing it with their technology. At other furniture companies, you have to visualize it yourself, which can be tough.

Step 4 – Place your order and wait!: We were sooo excited after placing our order. The hardest part during this entire process was waiting for the couch to arrive, which typically takes 8-12 weeks.  Unfortunately, the couch took an extra 1.5 weeks (after the 12 week mark) to arrive, but our Interior Define couch came in perfect condition and the free white glove delivery was easy and smooth. It was well worth the wait in the end!

Thoughts after receiving the Interior Define couch: I have customized two couches now with Boconcept and recently got a standard couch from Article. Comparing this Interior Define couch to the others that I’ve gotten, which are comparable in pricing, Interior Define is honestly my favorite so far. Being unbias and putting this sponsorship aside, I think the quality from Interior Define is far superior to the other two brands and the couch is so comfortable! The cushions are soft but still sturdy, and the fabric is thick and well made. We’ve been using it for three weeks now and couldn’t be happier!
