I took a little break from the blog last week because, well, life just got busy. It’s tough juggling a full-time job, blogging at night, and then everything else in between. Sometimes you just gotta accept that you can’t do it all and give yourself a break, right? Anyway! I’m back this week with some new content to share, starting with this ruffle off the shoulder top outfit!

So even though this top is considered off the shoulder, the tie straps make it look more like a tank top. Plus, the ties help keep the top up, which we all know can be an issue with some off the shoulder tops. I love wearing different colors during the warmer months and this coral is so vibrant and summery! If you’re not into color, there’s also an ivory, bird print version. The best part about this top is hands down the ruffle details (obvi!). The ruffles go across the shoulders and then at the hemline of the top. In the back, the ruffles curve up to show a little bit of your back. Way too cute, right?

For reference, I’m wearing an XS in this ruffle off the shoulder top and it fits true to size. However, I felt like the top was slightly short. I think I could’ve went with a Small since the top has a flowy fit anyway.

I paired this ruffle off the shoulder top with white jeans. I really like how the coral pops against the white. Since the coral is bright already, I wanted to stick with neutral accessories. Love my Cuyana bag that I wear way too much (hope you’re not getting sick of it yet), and these low heel nude sandals that I also wear non-stop. I seriously wear these sandals almost every day to work because they go with every outfit and the low heel makes them really comfortable. I’m thinking about getting these in more colors!

    Ahh I have a similar cold shoulder/off-the-shoulder with tie top and I had been trying to find new ways to style it so thanks for the inspiration! It’s such a fresh and chic look, pairing it with white jeans!

    Loving this cute off the shoulder top. You styled it perfectly. The tie straps are great detail and convenient for keeping your top in place. I think it’s great to take a break every once and awhile. Blogging and social media can be overwhelming especially when you’re juggling a full-time job at the same time.

    I’m glad to see you back on the blog, but am glad that you made time to take a break. It really can be tough juggling all the things you have on your plate, so it’s good to know when to take time off. Now, about that outfit, I absolutely love it. I like that the top has ties because off-the-shoulder tops can definitely be tricky sometimes. I’m also a huge fan of the red and white combo in this ensemble.
