Hey everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! We took a spontaneous road trip down to Portland and even brought along our three pups. We were pretty optimistic about bringing them with us, but now I just think we’re crazy (and we looked crazy hehe). I’ll share what we did in a later post. But first, I want to post about this pretty crochet dress that I wore to dinner a couple of weeks ago!
I was invited to try out the new summer menu at Six Seven restaurant (their menus are seasonal). I got to try a tina bit of every dish, and gosh, everything was so fresh and scrumptious. It was also my first time ever trying burrata cheese! I don’t know about you, but burrata was a total life changer for me. I can’t wait to go back to try out their weekend brunch (and, of course, eat more burrata).
If you’ve never heard of Six Seven, it’s part of The Edgewater Hotel, which is the only hotel right on the Seattle waterfront. As you guessed, the restaurant has incredible ceiling-to-floor views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. During dinner, we watched the sun set and sailboats pass by.
Because this is a nicer restaurant, I wanted to dress up (hey, any excuse, right?), and this Chicwish crochet dress was perfect for the occasion. I love the gorgeous crochet lace details and you won’t believe that it’s under $65! It’s comfortably lined, although the waist area is crochet only but isn’t too revealing. This crochet dress also comes in white and blush (would be cute for a wedding). For sizing, it runs small. I was able to squeeze myself in an XS but the chest area was very tight so I had to wear pasties. For my chest-blessed ladies, I think this dress would be too tight in the chest area. For everyone else, I think sizing up would be better overall!
