Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Hi everyone! I am back from the three day weekend and writing this post from New Orleans. I’m here with my boyfriend visiting his family and am so lucky that I can work remotely all week! Anyways, I’ve been meaning to share this casual chic outfit since I adore this classic wrap top blouse with a feminine twist!

You may have already gotten just a tina bit glimpse of this wrap top blouse since it was part of the Seattle edition LIKEtoKNOW.it Takeover Tuesday. Four other bloggers and I shared some of our favorite spots around town to their 1.9 million Instagram audience! I’m honestly not sure how I was selected to do this, but it was an awesome experience and I’m so glad to have been part of it!

If you’ve never heard of LIKEtoKNOW.it, it’s an Instagram account that features fashion bloggers. If you sign up for an account and like a specific photo, they’ll send you an email with the details and product links of that outfit. It’s super easy to sign up and saves you tons of time looking for those specific items you’re eyeing! Note: The fashion blogger will receive a small commission when you make a purchase, but your cost will remain the same.

This wrap top blouse is from Nordstrom and comes in multiple colors and prints. You know I’m all about that blush, though. It’s perfect for work (just add slacks and pumps) or a weekend ready look. I always love mixing up classic pieces with more rugged items, like these BLANKNYC distressed jeans, to create an unexpected chic outfit. For reference, I’m wearing a Regular XS and it fits true to size. The wrap top blouse is meant to have a boxier fit and the bow adds a subtle feminine touch. As for the jeans, they also fit true to size and provide a looser skinny jean fit. They’re super comfortable and under $100! Stay tuned for some New Orleans posts in the near future!

BACKYARD MAKEOVER PART 2! After pouring concrete, BACKYARD MAKEOVER PART 2! After pouring concrete, I wanted to soften it up with lots of new plants. But before we could do that, our entire sprinkler system had to be dug up and rerouted! The backyard was crazy messy for weeks.

Once we were able to plant, we went from 0 plants to 18 emerald green trees and 32 hydrangeas and they made the biggest difference! I knew nothing about plants before and now I learned so much about hydrangeas. Come back for Part 3, the final reveal! #backyardmakeover #backyarddesign
