Happy July 4th to everyone that’s celebrating today! I don’t have a blue white and red outfit to share with you (wish I planned sooner) but at least I have the blue and white part down? 🙂
If you’ve been following me since this winter, you know that I have a slight obsession with layered look sweaters as shown here and here. And now I finally found a layered look sweater that’s perfect for summer!
This summer sweater is from PB&J Boutique and I love its casual chic vibes. I mean, how cute is the ruffled, striped hemline? It actually extends to the back with the stripes peaking out under the open back, white fabric! The white fabric is also very lightweight and fairly see-through so I would recommend wearing a camisole underneath. For reference, I’m wearing a Small and it is nicely loose on me – I would say that the Small is true to size but also works with someone that is typically an XS (like me). It’s definitely a sweet top and who says you can’t wear a sweater during the summer?
I was super excited to style my layered look sweater with this pair of peep toe booties. I’ve been looking for some FOREVER and finally decided on these ones from TOMS. They’re so comfy (like every pair of TOMS) and even under $100! Sorry in advance cause I know you’ll see me in these alll summer long!

Wow, that’s a fabulous way to create a layered look in the Summer! Love the way you layer this white colored light sweater over the striped top (it creates a kind of cool peplum look) completed with knee-ripped skinnies and peep-toe booties.
