Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Outfit Details: Embroidered Dress, Red Crossbody, Red Sandals c/o VIPme.com

One of the fun things about blogging is that you get exposed to many different retailers / brands. VIPme.com is a new one I recently discovered and they’re even listed on the NY stock exchange (NYSE: VIPS)! I know shopping at a new site can be intimidating so here’s a VIPme.com review including what I got from them!

VIPme.com has a huge selection of clothes, handbags, shoes, and even home decor. As I was browsing through their collection, this embroidered dress caught my eyes. I love embroidered dresses like this because of the light and airy fabric. It’s the perfect mix of dressy but still summery. I also love the pretty yellow rose print with subtle white floral pattern from waist down. The dress looks just as it does in the web site photo. For reference, I’m wearing a Small and the dress fits me fine. I’m typically an XS so the dress was slightly loose all around but it’s not too noticeable. However, if you’re typically a Small, I think this dress would fit true to size and be extra flattering on you. The length is just right and falls below my knees on my 5’4″ petite frame.

I’m actually wearing VIPme.com from head to toe and there are definitely no complaints about that! I’ve been needing a small red crossbody and this one from them is so classic. It comes with interchangeable straps (red leather or gold chain) to fit your different outfits. Since I was in the dress up mood I picked the gold chain for a touch of glam. To add more pops of red, I also picked these red sandals. Aren’t they super cute? I have fairly narrow feet so these were slightly wide on me.

In terms of shipping, it’s free for orders over a certain amount. The package took about 7-10 days to arrive and each item was carefully wrapped and packed. They accept returns within 30 days but the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. If you’re ready to take the plunge with VIPme.com, use my code SITINA to get $5 off orders over $50. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions too!

Thanks to VIPme.com for sponsoring this post! You can download the VIPme app to bring more brands into your pocket: IOS / Android.
