A lace dress is one of my absolute favorite things to wear when I want to dress up. It’s so delicate and classy but at the same a little sassy and sexy!
I found this lace dress from a new retailer that another blogger told me about, Storets. If you follow me on Instagram, you might’ve seen me get this off the shoulder top from there too (outfit post to come soon)! I’m kind of addicted to Storets right now because they have quality, trendy pieces at affordable prices! It’s no wonder that famous bloggers like Chriselle Lim and Chiara Ferragni are sporting their collection.
This gorgeous lace dress is a major steal – I still can’t believe it’s under $80! The lace fabric is sturdy and has a good thickness to it. The intricate details throughout are beautiful and consistent. I’m also loving the subtle scalloped sleeves! For reference, I’m wearing an XS/S and it fits true to size. However, if you’re extra petite with a waist smaller than 26″, the waist of this dress may be a little loose on you. The retailer also says the dress is fully lined but I found that it’s only partially lined around the chest area and from waist down. I would highly recommend wearing a camisole underneath since part of your chest will peak underneath the lined area.
Since a lace dress is timeless, it can stay in your wardrobe for decades to come! It would be perfect for all of your special occassions like graduation, girls night out, high tea, bridal shower, weddings, and of course date night! I would recommend keeping your accessories simple as I did here in this outfit (ankle strap sandals, bucket bag, Daniel Wellington watch). You don’t want to take attention away from your intricate lace dress!
