Outfit Details: Pink Ruffle Dress c/o Chicwish (red version here) | Gladiator Sandals | Mini Faux Leather Tote
Pink is one of my favorite colors (obvi) and I definitely don’t think I own enough clothes of it…until today! This pink ruffle dress fulfills all of my pink dreams and I’m obsessed!
On Sunday, I threw a huge rooftop BBQ for over 50 friends. You could imagine how busy Saturday was. Yep – lots and lots of running around, buying supplies, getting my car serviced, completing errands, and all night food prepping. This pink ruffle dress was perfect for this very bustling Saturday. It kept me cool in our 85 degrees weather and is so chic and comfy. The huge tiered ruffles are super dramatic and catches anyone’s attention. I literally got compliments everywhere I went, including my car service specialist who said I looked like a princess lol.
This pink ruffle dress fits true to size (I’m wearing the XS/S for reference) and is under $60. You could wear it with or without the sash, but since the dress looked overwhelming on my petite frame, the sash helped give me more shape. The off the shoulder also stayed put the whole time, which is a major plus in my fashion book (I hate it when I always have to adjust)! The dress is well lined underneath so you don’t have to worry about undergarment lines. There’s also a super cute red version that I totally thought about getting but, like I said, I need more pink clothes!
Going with the comfortable theme, I paired my pink ruffle dress with these flat gladiator sandals. It was my first day wearing them and they didn’t require any breaking in. They were so great for prancing around town and the lace ups didn’t loosen or untie. They just need a little more cushion and support if you’re planning to walk in these for long hours. I’m wearing my regular size in these, but if you have wide feet, size up since they run narrow.
