Spring has sprung in Seattle and I couldn’t be any more ecstatic! I celebrated the first day of this blooming season in a darling Asos swing dress with ruffle detail and, of course, a beautiful flower bouquet from Pike Place Market!
I recently ordered this Asos swing dress since it was on sale for only $27. I was totally drawn to the simple ruffle detail that turned a plain swing dress to super cute and girly! Have I also mentioned how comfortable it is? The swing dress is made of light and smooth fabric, fits loose over the body, and flows in all the right places. For reference, I’m wearing a Size 0. The arms were just slightly tight for me, but you can’t really tell and it didn’t bother me at all. However, if you think the arms would be too tight for you, I think going up a size would help with the arm issue. And since this Asos swing dress is supposed to fit loosely anyways, the body of the dress should still flow and look nice.
I’m sure one trend you’ll continue to see a lot this season is lace up flats and heels and I’m loving these Ivanka Trump Kavita ghillie sandals for so many reasons: 1) The chunky heel makes the shoes easy to walk in and didn’t require any breaking in; 2) The tie laces are long so you can wrap it around a couple of times and create some cute bows (I hate it when the laces are too short with little room for bows!); 3) Lastly, it’s the perfect neutral color that will literally go with every color and outfit, especially for spring!

First of all, I’m super jealous that you can wear a dress without tights and a sweater this time of year. Portland still hasn’t gotten the memo that it’s Spring! Also, that swing dress looks gorgeous on you. The navy color is so pretty and at $27 it’s such a steal. I also love those sandals since I’m a sucker for lace-up shoes.
