I’m not going to lie, I’ve worn this outfit a couple of times already – once to a family get-together and then to work (my coworkers won’t know, right?)!
I’ve been looking for an everyday kind of jacket and this Chicwish plaid check long jacket is just what I needed! The black and white makes it easy to style – you can wear it with a colorful sweater, skirt, or scarf, or you can keep it monochromatic like how I did here. I love the “longline” cut since it’s, as the name states, long! This cut is also very sleek and timeless!
Being petite, I have the hardest time finding jackets that fit well. But to my surprise, this long jacket fits me just right! It’s not too tight, which allows me to layer underneath, and the length falls perfectly to my mid-thigh (it’s about 34.5 inches long). Also, the jacket is light so I can wear it through many seasons. Even in the winter, you could layer this jacket under a big wool coat!
Keeping this fall outfit simple, I styled the check jacket with the softest chambray shirt. I also wore white jeans to really create an eye-catching contrast between the jacket and jeans. I also couldn’t forget this Nordstrom BP geometric blanket scarf that’s been keeping me oh-so warm and cozy! I don’t think I’ve left anywhere without a scarf lately!
