Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Can’t believe we installed this pergola ourselve Can’t believe we installed this pergola ourselves! We have a friend that paid $1500 to get it installed so we were afraid it was going to be a lot of work. But it was pretty straightforward and everything came packaged nicely and organized. 3 Reasons Why You Need A Romper

wayf embroidered romper, black playsuit, spring fashion, petite fashion blogwayf embroidered romper, black playsuit, spring fashion, petite fashion blogwayf embroidered romper, black playsuit, spring fashion, petite fashion blogwayf embroidered romper, black playsuit, spring fashion, petite fashion blog
Playsuit: WAYF Embroidered Romper
Bag: Street Level Faux Leather Tote
Shoes: Dolce Vita Sandals (similar here, here)

Cheers to the arrival of romper season! It’s finally warm enough to wear these one piece wonders and I’m excited to be sharing three reasons why you need one this year!

  1. Rompers are effortless. Slip it on, pair it with the shoes of your liking, and you’re set for the day! You can add accessories and a hat to your outfit, but if you’re really out of time, the playsuit will still look cute and good by itself! So easy, right?
  2. Rompers are comfortable and wearable. It’s comfy like wearing a dress, but you don’t have to worry about the romper flipping or anything showing. Take it on that rollercoaster or ride a bike, the playsuit allows you to enjoy whatever you’re doing freely!
  3. Rompers are versatile. There are so many stylish rompers out there and for every body shape. With different accessories and layering, a playsuit can be worn for numerous occassions including the beach, brunch, girls night out, and running errands!

I’m really loving this WAYF embroidered romper because of all the pretty details. I especially love the floral embroidery and the scalloped hemline. The lace up neckline and sheer sleeves also make this romper extra special! I’m wearing an XS for reference and it fits true to size. This black playsuit is lined in the bottom area, but is somewhat sheer on top – you may need a camisole underneath. For the most part, it was easy to get out of – just make sure you loosen the lace up neckline for extra wiggle room. This romper is available in an ivory color and is less than $100.

I’ve linked the exact romper below plus my additional picks of other cute playsuits. Happy romping!
