Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Top: Wayf (similar here, here)
Skirt: Treasure & Bond Plaid Skirt (similar here)
Shoes: Sole Society Romy Booties (also available here)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love Crossbody
Necklace: BP Nordstrom Dreamcatcher Statement Necklace c/o
Belt: Ann Taylor (similar here)

Now that fall is officially here, I can wear plaid over and over again right :)? Please say yes cause I’m super obsessed with anything plaid! This particular Treasure & Bond plaid skirt caught my eye with it’s simple black and white plaid pattern and it’s ultra soft fabric. I tried it on and it was OH-so-comfy. Go-figure since it’s made of 100% cotton. Plus, the plaid skirt is only $48 so it was a no brainer to snag it up. Just note that it fits a little large around the waist but I was able to rely on my black belt to make it fit perfectly.

Here’s also something that I just found out – if you buy Treasure & Bond products from Nordstrom, Nordstrom will donate 2.5% of net sales to organizations that help the youth. They are partnering with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America right now. This gives me even more reason to purchase products from this brand and Nordstrom (even though everything is already really cute)! I’m thinking about buying these Treasure & Bond suede booties and plaid shirt (no surprise there).

I styled the plaid skirt casually with a pink top and a fun statement necklace. I also couldn’t wait to break out these Sole Society Romy booties that have been sitting in my shoe closet for a while now. I bought these suede booties last year, but luckily, the style is back again this season! These booties are very comfortable and I took these with me on my trip to Japan and Korea (as seen here). I walked SO much in these, and they’re still in great condition!

We finished the pergola itself in 4 hours!

Once we had it bolted down by our concrete guy, we added the accessories. Should I fully enclose this @miradoroutdoor pergola with two more pull down screens on the sides?! Comment SHOP for the pergola link and use code TINA05 for an extra 5% off! #pergola #miradorpergola #moretoenjoy
