As Seattle is transitioning to fall, temperatures are gradually dropping and the leaves are already changing colors. This means pumpkin everything (lattes, cookies, pies – you name it, I’ll take it!), costume planning, and of course, layering!
Today’s layering outfit starts with this BB Dakota Cotter plaid shirt dress, which I wore as a top and is less than $100! I actually purchased the shirt dress last year (as styled here), and I’m so glad it’s available again both in wine and navy. It’s been a very versatile piece for me since I can wear it as a top, a plain shirt dress, or a long top over leggings!
I paired the plaid shirt dress with my white Topshop scallop skirt for contrast and to make the plaid pattern really POP. The layering item was this Glamorous drape trench coat that I haven’t been able to take off since I bought it. It’s light, super comfortable, and adds that perfect fall touch!
