My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. I know, you’re probably wondering why I’m wearing a cashmere cardigan sweater during summer. But this is totally normal in Seattle! I promise!

If you haven’t heard, summers in Seattle are the absolute best. While there are heat waves everywhere else, temperatures are moderate and quite perfect here, ranging from 65-80 degrees. Before Seattle heats up in the afternoon, it’s typically cloudy and cool in the morning so a light layer is definitely necessary. You’ll usually find me in a jacket, or like here, a cashmere cardigan sweater!

This is actually my first ever cashmere clothing item that I own, thanks to The Cashmere Farms. To be honest, I was a little hesistant about receiving this cashmere cardigan sweater based on the web site. However, I saw the blogger from Carrie Bradshaw Lied wearing it and thought it looked amazing on her. The Cashmere Farms also has a 30 day, 100% refund guarantee if you’re not satisfied with the product so it doesn’t hurt to give it a try.

Like I said, I don’t know too much about cashmere, but this cardigan sweater is so incredibly soft! I’m sensitive to many sweaters but this one didn’t make me itch at all. For reference, I’m wearing a Small. Although it’s big on me (I’m usually an XS), this cardigan looks great with the sleeves scrunched up and worn with a relaxed fit. I can’t wait to wear it all of fall and winter!

To make this cashmere cardigan sweater work for summer, I styled it with very summery items like skinny white jeans, a ruffle tank, straw hat, and these casual lace up sandals. Once it got warmer, I just left the cardigan in the car and it was perfect for showing off this adorable ruffle tank! Love the raw edge hemline that makes the top more unique!
