Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Can’t believe we installed this pergola ourselve Can’t believe we installed this pergola ourselves! We have a friend that paid $1500 to get it installed so we were afraid it was going to be a lot of work. But it was pretty straightforward and everything came packaged nicely and organized. Fashion Code

Tee: Zara (similar here and here)
Shorts: Talula (similar here and here)
Blazer: Zara (similar here, love this)

Shoes: Nine West (similar here and here)
Necklace: Baublebar (similar here and here)

Hi everyone! I’ve been really sick for the past couple of weeks (dare I reveal that I looked like death and sounded like a man?) and haven’t been able to post. I’m finally feeling a lot better so here’s a look of what I recently wore during a warm day that turned a little chilly at night (why, hello September). I paired a loose-fitting tee with ripped denim shorts for a super casual day outfit, and for the colder evening, I polished it up with this zipper-detailed blazer and these snake-print pumps. I guess the “fashion code” or lesson to be learned from this post is that you can easily mix up your basics (what girl doesn’t have a tee, denim shorts, a blazer, and pumps?) to go from day to night!
