Happy first day of summer guys! Although I’m just at work in a striped top and jeans today, I wish I was celebrating summer with this off the shoulder top and pretty roses instead. I wore this outfit a few weeks ago to the Moorea Seal private party and am finally getting the chance to blog about it!

So who else is finding themselves with a growing collection of off the shoulder everything? I have so many and I’m definitely not complaining! Not only are they super on trend this year, I love how they’re flirty and feminine. An off the shoulder top also totally reminds me of Kelly Kapowski who I thought was THE coolest girl on TV growing up (Saved by the Bell anyone?).

I had absolutely no problem adding yet another off the shoulder top to my wardrobe, especially since this one has ruffles (you know I have a real weakness for them). But seriously, how cute are the ruffles along the shoulder trim and at the puffy sleeves? I’m also loving the subtle stripes that make this top very summery and airy. It’s actually one size fits all (or called “Free” on Chicwish) and surprisingly fits well! I was honestly hesitant at first, but after seeing photos of other people wearing this top on the site, I could see how it works for all different body types and sizes – all thanks to the elastic shoulder and the billowy-ness of the bodice.

In terms of quality, it is decent but not amazing compared to other Chicwish items. There were a few threads hanging off at the bottom, but some quick trims with regular scissors did the trick. The fabric of this off the shoulder top is also very lightweight and perfect for those hot days. So who’s ready to channel their inner Kelly Kapowski with me?!

    That top is so pretty and I love the length. I couldn’t quite figure out why I love off-the-shoulder tops so much, but it’s probably because they remind me off Kelly Kapowski in Saved by the Bell. I have to say, you do an amazing job at looking as glamorous as she does!
