Anytime I want to put together a cute and casual outfit, I always turn to a trusty waterfall cardigan. They are just so effortless and can be easily thrown over almost any top. You’ve seen me in various ones in outfit posts here and here so I think it’s safe to say that I’m slightly addicted!
I found this waterfall cardigan while surfing on Nordstrom.com (a weekly guilty pleasure) and it helped me get through last week’s work week. It has a nice and casual waterfall effect, is extra long in the back, and comes sleeveless for the warm weather! I’m wearing it in the beautiful olive color and it also comes in a dark grey, which is selling out very quickly! For reference, this waterfall cardigan fits true to size (I’m wearing an XS) and is right under $55.
Like I said, a waterfall cardigan looks good over most tops and my favorite pairing is usually with a plain tee – or in this case, my go-to plain white hi lo top from Chicwish! I love the ruffle hemline of the white top since it adds a little girly touch to this casual outfit. I’m also wearing these awesome suede lace up sandals, which I talked about in the last post, and don’t be surprised if you see me in them again (can’t stop, won’t stop). Isn’t the cognac color a great contrast against the olive?
Although I styled this waterfall cardigan in a casual outfit, you can definitely dress it up. I think it would look gorgeous over a lace cream tank, dark jeans, and nude ankle strap heels! A large classic tote bag like this would complete your effortless look!
