Every year, my girlfriends and I have an annual holiday tradition where we’ll eat together and then do either a white elephant or Secret Santa exchange. I hosted last year and had help from MOIM to make our tradition extra special! Isn’t this modern holiday tablescape they designed and put together so beautiful and creative?!
MOIM is founded by three sweet young moms in Seattle. They are an inclusive event planning business that focuses on intimate gatherings so that the host can focus on making memories with their friends and family. Honestly, it was amazing to have their help, because if you guys know me, I always plan and DIY things myself. And while I love doing it, it takes a ton of energy and effort so it was super nice to just sit back and let someone else plan and set up the event for once. Here’s the before photo of my dining table/room.
During our brief planning meeting, I told them that I didn’t have any colors or theme preferences in mind and that they could fully run with their vision. I actually had no idea what they were planning until I saw the result on the day of the event! It was a fun surprise and I was blown away by the outcome! Modern Holiday Tablescape Rentals
Since they’re an all-inclusive event planning business, MOIM brought over everything including chairs, dinnerware, server ware, and drinkware. The only thing that was mine was my dining table since they thought it was a nice feature, but they do have their own tables and linens too.
Modern Holiday Tablescape Details
The MOIM ladies literally thought of every detail to make this tablescape chic and beautiful. They added texture with linen napkins and luxurious personalized greeting cards. They sprinkled the holiday modern tablescape with pretty dainty flower arrangements and deep green candles with gold leaves on them to set the mood. My favorite feature of all is how they hung greenery and dried oranges to my dining chandeliers – so festive and creative! Even after a few weeks, it was too pretty to take down!
Modern Holiday Tablescape Appetizers
If you girls are already like wow, these MOIM girls can do everything – planning, flower arrangements, table setting, design, etc. Well, guess what? They can also make fancy and delicious appetizers too! They made three different kinds – raspberry cream cheese bites, antipasto skewers, and blackberry and prosciutto crostini. We devoured it all up!
This was the only time that I’ve ever had a holiday tablescape in my own home and in my entire life! Tablescapes aren’t really a thing in Asian culture so I love that MOIM is fully AAPI and WOC-owned and is helping bring beautiful tablescapes into homes, including to the AAPI community!
