One thing that I don’t like about our builder-grade house is how they didn’t build a shower niche for our shower products. We’ve been leaving our shower essentials in a neat corner on the shower floor since we’ve lived here – it hasn’t been too much of an issue….until now. Being pregnant with my second child, my belly has been extra big and it’s been harder to bend down and grab my shampoo and conditioner. I knew I had to find a shower caddy that doesn’t require any drilling and can be installed on the shower wall. Let’s see how this shower organization reset turned out!
Check out what it looked like before I organized my shower. Mostly everything was on the floor and products were in their original packing…nothing really special.
When searching for a shower caddy, I looked for something that doesn’t require drilling and has a simple look. I chose this shower caddy because of its functionality and clean design. It also helps that it has over 3000 great reviews!
The shower caddy comes with strong adhesives that stick to smooth surfaces like my shower tile. When installing, be careful as each adhesive can only be used once (the set does come with backup adhesives just in case). We used a leveler and made small pen marks on the tile to help with alignment before applying.
Once the adhesives are on, you attach the shower caddy to the hooks. The instructions recommend that you leave it for 24 hours before using it.
The next day, I transferred our shower essentials into these shampoo, conditioner, and body wash containers. I love that they’re already labeled and create a beautiful and cohesive look.
The shower caddy has a specific spot for bar soap and is self-draining. I hate it when bar soap holders collect water and make the bar soap watery.
I got new neutral fluffy loofas. They’re big and soft, and do a great job with exfoliating. I hang them off of the hooks under the bar soap section.
Lastly, there is a hook for hanging a razor as well.
Overall, I love the simplicity and functionality of this shower caddy. It’s also rust-proof and stainless steel. Everything is holding up well and we’ve had no issues so far. I’ll be sure to update this post if we experience any issues later on. Until then, this preggo will be enjoying this beautiful shower organization and not have to bend down anymore for my shower products!
