We had so many travel plans this year – Europe for our honeymoon, Hawaii for babymoon, and Japan for our dog’s surgery. But with COVID-19, everything had to be canceled. With less than two months until my due date, I still wanted us to go somewhere to unwind before we welcome a new addition into our lives. I looked up places we could go locally and found that Salish Lodge offers a babymoon package. I reached out to them and they were happy to host us! The resort is only 45 minutes away from Seattle yet we felt like we were transported hours away. I’m recapping our mini babymoon at Salish Lodge!

Here’s what’s included in the Salish Lodge babymoon package:
- One-night stay
- Rose petals and sparkling cider in room upon arrival
- Special pregnancy pillow for the mother-to-be, to be enjoyed during her stay
- Two 50-minute individual Salish Signature spa treatments of the couple’s choice
- $50 dining credit
- An adorable Salish Lodge & Spa baby gift, for when the little one arrives!

When we arrived and checked in for our babymoon at Salish Lodge, we were welcomed with a cozy king patio room with beautiful, red rose petals throughout. They also left us a baby toy gift and chilled sparkling cider to kick off the celebration!
After settling in, we headed to the fourth floor for some pampering at The Spa. I selected the Mother To Be massage while Jeff got the Tranquility one. I haven’t had any prenatal massages throughout my pregnancy so this one was VERY much needed, especially since I’ve been having a lot of lower back pain. I felt extremely relaxed and even fell asleep during my massage. Due to COVID-19, the massage therapist and I both wore our masks. The sauna and soaking pools were also closed.

Following our massages, Jeff and I went back to our room, washed up, and took a power nap before dinner. I changed into this pretty white lace maternity dress. We dined on Salish Lodge’s outdoor patio overlooking the Snoqualmie Falls and the sunset views were absolutely breathtaking. We were able to choose between two menus from their on-site restaurants – The Attic and The Dining Room. The Attic is more casual, and exactly what baby was craving. We went all out and ordered a ton of food – pulled pork nachos (not pictured), seafood chowder and sourdough bread bowl, spicy Italian stone-fired pizza, and dungeness crab mac and cheese. Every single dish was sooo incredibly delicious and locally sourced. We want to come back just for the food!

For dessert, we went back to our patio room to roast s’mores with our fire pit, which was installed only two weeks ago. The s’mores package came with Theo Chocolate as well as graham crackers and marshmallows that are made on-site. It was so fun roasting s’mores right outside of our room!
Salish Lodge overlooks the Snoqualmie Falls with amazing viewpoints, but if you want a closer look, you have to hike down to the bottom deck. The next morning, Jeff and I woke up early and hiked down to the falls. It’s only one mile roundtrip, but unfortunately the bottom deck was closed off. Since we didn’t get a close up view of Snoqualmie Falls, here are some photos we took the night before during sunset! Amazing, right?!

We’ve been non-stop the last few months with work, our pups, and lots of projects to get ready for baby. It was nice to hit pause and enjoy each other’s company. Hopefully the next time we’re at Salish Lodge, we’ll be able to bring baby girl with us! Thanks again to Salish Lodge for hosting us and for a wonderful babymoon!
This is so lovely Tina! I’m glad you and your husband were able to have some getaway time before the baby arrives. That bathtub is sooo dreamy! Wishing you well 🙂

Hope that you had a lovely weekend! 🙂 We had a nice day yesterday at the photo studio picking out some photos after our family photo shoot last week!
I am so glad you and Jeff got to getaway and do a babymoon. Salish Lodge look absolutely amazing! I saw the outside of this lodge last year when my family and I visited Seattle last September. I had wanted to eat at their restaurant but we didn’t have enough time due to another appointment. It looks like I missed out! 🙁 I hope you guys had a great weekend and happy Monday, Tina!
