I’m off to Vegas again tonight (last week’s Vegas trip was for a work conference) and I’m definitely packing this Chelsea28 lace up babydroll dress with me! It’s that perfect day or night LBD (little black dress) that could also triple as a swimsuit coverup!
I love babydoll dresses since they’re so effortless and gives you that sweet look. I’m such a sucker for loose fit dresses too, especially when I’m about to hit the Vegas buffets! If you’ve never been, Vegas is known for having the best buffets in the country – you seriously can’t visit without eating at one!
I’m wearing an XS in this babydoll dress and it fits great. I think I could’ve sized down to XXS if I wanted but the XS worked fine since the dress is meant to be loose and flowy anyways. Did you also notice the fun tassels and lace up neckline? So cute – subtle details really make a difference! Since this dress is made up of two layers – the lining (its strap is adjustable) and sheer overlay – you could totally use just the sheer overlay as your swimsuit coverup (which is exactly what I plan to wear for some poolside chillen this weekend).
I really love how this babydoll dress is so versatile. Not only can it be a swimsuit cover, you could style it for day or night. Switch up your flats for a sleek pair of black sandals and you’re set to swing the night away!
