Between lots of home projects (we self-installed a sprinkler system this weekend) and now wedding planning, it’s been so hard to post on my blog more than once a week. I still have a ton of photos from spring time. I know tulip season is over, but I just had to post these photos from the tulip fields. These are some of my all-time favorite shots on the blog!
Two years ago, I went up to the Skagit Valley tulip fields for the very first time on a blogger trip. It was awesome and one of the most memorable blogger events that I’ve been to! You can read about it here and also get some tips for visiting the Skagit Valley tulip fields. Since that trip, I haven’t been up to the tulip fields again. It’s only an hour north of Seattle but it can be tough to go on the weekends because traffic is crazy and everyone and their moms head up there during tulip season. This year, Jeff and I had some extra PTO days to burn through, so we took a day off and ventured off to the tulip fields on a Friday afternoon and these photos are what came out of it!
I was torn between wearing this polka dot dress or this floral maxi dress to the tulip fields. Obviously, the floral maxi dress won but I kind of wish I did an outfit change and took two sets of photos! Maybe next year I’ll be more prepared. This floral maxi dress is so dreamy and perfect for a magical setting like the tulip fields. I love the soft, pastel colors and how pretty it looks with the white tulips. I also love the flutter sleeves, the waist tie, and how it cascades at the leg opening. It’s currently 40% off so get it before it’s gone! I’m wearing a Small for reference and it’s true to size.

Those tulips are beautiful and I love how your maxi dress goes so well with it in these photos! I saw so many different areas from Instagram this year that had beautiful blooms and it’s too bad I don’t live nearby. I do have it on my travel bucket list to visit so I know I will get there!!
