3 Outfits with Pieces from the Gibson x Living In Yellow Collaboration

This post is long overdue but I’m finally sharing a review of my items from the Gibson x Living In Yellow collaboration! I’m a huge fan of Gibson because of their casual chic clothes that are great for every day wear. I couldn’t think of a better blogger, Erin from Living In Yellow, who is the QUEEN of casual style, for them to partner with!

I met Erin from the RewardStyle Conference (#rsthecon) last year and we totally hit it off. A year later, we have still stayed in touch and she kindly sent me the following three items from the Gibson x Living In Yellow collaboration! Every piece from the collection is very wearable and I love that it’s size inclusive with sizes for petite, regular, and plus!

Gibson x Living in Yellow Erin Crossover Tunic

The Erin crossover tunic is my favorite of the three items she sent me. It’s so classic that I know I can wear it for years. The crossover detail is unique and I love the button roll tabs on the sleeves. I got this top in a Petite XS but I think a Regular would’ve worked better. I’m 5’4″ and if I raised my hands up, this top would’ve shown my mid rift so I definitely recommend going with the regular size if you’re around my height. The back is great though since it’s long and covers your bottom area. Check out the other colors, prints, and sizes here!

Gibson x Living in Yellow Reagan V-Neck Drop Back Top

The Reagan top is a simple top that’s so cute for dressing up or down and can be the basic layering piece in any outfit! Here I’m wearing it with white jeans and a denim jacket for a spring casual look. To dress it up, tuck it in a pencil skirt (for all of my corporate ladies) or style it with a fun button-up skirt (wouldn’t this be adorable for happy hour?). I also like that the v-neck isn’t too low, and the fit is loose but still flattering. I’m wearing a Petite XS and it fits slightly large. I’m in between XS and Small right now so I went down one size and it was perfect!

Gibson x Living in Yellow Claire Cardigan

The Claire cardigan is oh so comfyyyy! The fabric is super soft and smooth and extra light weight, which makes it an awesome spring and summer layering piece! There are sheer stripes throughout and the cardigan is very flowy in the front. I’m wearing it in a Regular XS and it fits slightly large. I would recommend sizing down if you’re in between as well. Doesn’t the cardigan look chic over the Reagan top?

I do love the blue top a lot on you! It has such a nice color and it suits you well. The lavender shirt is so versatile and love that the v neck is not too low. When you have to worry about flashing people it takes away from the piece itself in my opinion. The black cardigan is nice but I didn’t really got into it. I hope your long weekend is going well!
