This time we’re talking about my favorite summer jewelry trend – pearls. Even though we are focusing on summer, I think a pearl necklace is perfect all year long! I first fell in love with pearls when I discovered Blair Eadie’s blog. She is the queen of fashion and accessorizing, and I was just obsessed with how she always made pearls look so modern and stylish! They also remind me of Audrey Hepburn! I’m now convinced pearls are for everyone!
3 Chic Ways To Style A Pearl Necklace
- Pair with dresses: Pearls will make a dress look elegant and classy. I especially like them with simple dresses to add an additional element to the outfit. They also pair well with casual dresses – check out this super chic striped dress outfit for inspiration!
- Polish up your work outfit: A pearl necklace will go with any work outfit. Whether you want to spice up that plain button-up shirt or blouse, pearls will sure add sophistication to the entire look! Here’s a very cute work outfit styled with a pearl necklace.
- Elevate your casual looks: Pearls aren’t just for dresses and work outfits. I love seeing a combination of something casual and something dressier paired together. Try styling pearls with a lace top or a simple everyday sweater. They would fun against plaid and polka dot prints too!
So there you have it! My tips for how to style a pearl necklace. In today’s outfit, I went with method #1. Other than the ruffle sleeves, this pink dress is bold yet simple. This pearl necklace makes this dress look much more polished and I love how it really pops against the bright pink. The style will stand the test of time, and the quality is amazing and durable. I just had a tough time fastening the necklace myself so be sure someone is around to help you out!

Ah truly that Audrey Hepburn vibe! I think pearls are such statement (and quite timeless) add-ons to any outfit. My mom recently got me a pair and I’ve been meaning to style it.
