Tis the season for proms, graduations, weddings, and everything in between! This means it’s also time to find occasionwear that will make you shine and feel extra special! When planning for an upcoming event, ASOS is one of the retailers that I can always count on to make me stand out from the crowd. I’m so happy to be partnering up with them today to share their own ASOS label of occasionwear!
When looking through the ASOS occasionwear collection, I had such a hard time narrowing down my selection because I literally wanted every dress, clutch, and pair of shoes. Two things I always ask myself when shopping for special events are, “Will this item be memorable?” and “Will it photograph well?” Whatever the occasion is, you know that there will be tons of memories to capture, so why not look and feel your best?
Once I laid my eyes on this gorgeous ASOS one shoulder dress, I knew it was a winner for me. The ruffled one shoulder detail is flirty and sweet while the fit and flare silhouette is classic and very flattering. I love the beautiful blue color and it also comes in a pretty rose and electric lime. What makes it for me is the romantic tulle that elevates this dress to the next level. I’ll make up any excuse just to wear tulle! I also can’t pass up on a dress that has the ultimate twirl factor!
For reference, this under $100 one shoulder dress fits true to size (I’m wearing a 2) and I would recommend sizing up if you’re in between. The tulle is lined to make sure you feel comfortable throughout the day. You’ll need to spend some time steaming this dress once you receive it, but it’ll look amazing and very expensive once you’re done!
Lastly, how fabulous are these ASOS embellished sandals? Paired with the blue dress, these jeweled shoes make me feel like a modern day Cinderella!
