We all tend to go for darker colors during fall, but I love adding something colorful to my wardrobe. Doesn’t this pink cardigan just brighten up a gloomy day? We’re going to have plenty of those here in Seattle from now through winter, so this cardigan was definitely a must!
Cardigans are one of my favorite layering pieces. They’re so cozy and perfect for throwing over what would’ve been a pretty basic outfit. Since I’m wearing a very casual peplum top with distressed skinny jeans, the pink cardigan totally helped transform this outfit to being more chic. For reference, it fits true to size and I’m wearing an XS. It does have a relaxed fit so you could potentially size down if you wanted, but I love the loose fit for fall. I’m also enjoying the the popcorn yarn knit material – it’s not itchy (I’m super sensitive to itchy sweaters) and, as a bonus, adds texture!
If you’re on the hunt for ripped jeans, these BLANKNYC ‘Good Vibes’ distressed skinny jeans are pretty awesome. You’ve seen me wear these over and over (like here and here) and there are good reasons. Not only are they reasonably priced (under $100), they also fit really well! They’re skinny but with a more relaxed fit so it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing tight skinny jeans (we all know how that feels). These jeans are fairly long for a 5’4″ petite girl like me, but I just roll them up or you could have them hemmed as well. Obviously, I went with the cheaper option ;). Even the holes hit all the right spots! But be warned, you will receive jokes about rocking jeans with holes. My favorite joke that I’ve heard so far when wearing these jeans is:
Did you go to church today?
Because those are hole-y jeans! 🙂
