Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Frolicking in the Woodinville lavender fields in a cute white cold shoulder dress, straw hat, and gladiator sandals - petite fashion blogOutfits Details: Cold Shoulder Dress c/o | Gladiator Sandals | Straw Hat (splurge on this)

I can’t think of anywhere better to wear a white cold shoulder dress than at a gorgeous lavender field! This is my first time ever visiting one and I’m completely swooned!

The Woodinville Lavender field in Redmond, WA is quite the hidden gem just 30 minutes outside of the heart of Seattle. It was my first time being around fresh lavender and the smell is so mesmerizing. We also checked out the little lavender shop where I bought a fresh bundle of lavender. Our entire home was filled with the lavender scent for weeks! Someone recently told me that the shop also has lavender lemonade and ice cream and now I’m totally regretting not trying them! Oh well, I’ll be back next year! P.S. I didn’t know that bees love lavender so much! There were huge swarms of bees around each bush so definitely be careful!

This white cold shoulder dress from Goodnight Macaroon was perfect against the vibrant purple lavender field! The cold shoulder cut is super sweet and flirty, and I love the beautiful lace and ruffle details. Did you also notice the scalloped hemline and subtle eyelet cutouts both around the chest area and at the bottom of the dress? So many wonderful details that make me obsessed with this cold shoulder dress! For reference, I’m wearing an XS and it fits true to size. The waist area is elastic and stretches to fit you accordingly.

Since the cold shoulder dress is so pretty on its own, I didn’t need to accessorize this outfit much. I added this straw hat for an extra summery feel and because I just need every excuse to wear it over and over. It’s my new favorite summer accessory! I also can’t forget about these gladiator sandals that literally pair well with every single dress!

BACKYARD MAKEOVER PART 2! After pouring concrete, BACKYARD MAKEOVER PART 2! After pouring concrete, I wanted to soften it up with lots of new plants. But before we could do that, our entire sprinkler system had to be dug up and rerouted! The backyard was crazy messy for weeks.

Once we were able to plant, we went from 0 plants to 18 emerald green trees and 32 hydrangeas and they made the biggest difference! I knew nothing about plants before and now I learned so much about hydrangeas. Come back for Part 3, the final reveal! #backyardmakeover #backyarddesign
