To be honest, I didn’t have a special occasion to wear this incredible black maxi dress to. But I was TOTALLY ok with that. Because every girl deserves to feel elegant and fabulous at least once in a while! Am I right, ladies?
This black maxi dress will do you so many wonders – it’s fitted, flowy, and screams classy glam. What I really like about it are the cutouts at the waist that drapes to the back – so sexy without revealing too much. The dress also has a beautiful cascading high low hemline that shows off your legs as you walk. Every movement will definitely turn heads and don’t be surprised if your man’s jaws drop. 😉
In terms of fit, the maxi dress runs slightly small. I’m wearing an XS but I think a Small would’ve been a little more comfortable. If you’re between sizes, try sizing up. An XS is available here while all other sizes are still in stock here. This maxi dress also comes in a blue-ish grey here but I think the black is more fabulous! One other feedback is that the dress has stitching around the breast pointers (if you know what I mean). I wasn’t a fan of this because my chest didn’t fit into the stitched pointers perfectly and it somewhat stood out. Nonetheless, the dress is still stunning and so much fun to wear!
Although I didn’t have anywhere to wear this, it would be perfect as a wedding guest dress or for a black tie event. I wore the dress with a simple pair of ankle strap sandals for an all black sleek look. Added the statement necklace for an extra punch of glam!
