Not gonna lie – this Astr floral dress has been on heavy rotation. Easy breezy? Check! Effortless? Check! Cute print? Check! This floral dress hits all of my spring and summer dress requirements.
I wasn’t joking when I said I’ve been wearing this floral dress a lot. In a single week, you would’ve seen me in it once at work, at a baseball game, and then when I had to rush to the emergency veterinarian (more details about this below). This floral dress is just so easy to slip on and go. It fits true to size and I’m wearing an XS for reference. Lengthwise, it hits right below my mid-thigh area on my 5’4″ frame. If you’re a lot taller than me, just make sure to measure the length so that it’s not too short on you. Based on Nordstrom, the Medium size is about 35″ long.
I also love that this floral dress is flowy and has a trendy lace up neckline – you can loosen it to show some skin, or like me, tighten it to be more conservative :). For some reason, the colors look washed out in the actual product photo from Nordstrom. But don’t worry, the colors are very vibrant and summery, like shown in my photos! This floral dress is seriously such a great summer staple for less than $100!
So if you’re wondering why I had to go to the emergency vet, my little 5 lb furbaby, Boba, was playing with a regular black hair tie and ended up swallowing it! She NEVER eats anything weird and is even super picky with her food and treats. Long story short, the first vet said Boba needed immediate surgery since it could’ve been a life threatening case. Luckily, he already had a patient and couldn’t operate on her. So we rushed to the emergency vet, and by the time the second vet reviewed her, the hair tie moved from the intestines to the colon area and all she needed to do was pass it through. We were SO incredibly relieved – not only did it save us thousands of dollars, our little Boba didn’t have to go through scary surgery and all of that pain! If you ever get to meet her, she is super cute, hilarious and has SO much personality, especially for a little 5 pounder!
