Pencil skirts are such a staple in a girl’s closet. Pair one with a crop top and you’re ready for a hot night on the town. Or, pair it with a blouse and you’ll be the chicest girl at work. Pencil skirts are just simply timeless, flattering, and wearable for many different occassions!
My favorite kind of pencil skirt as of late are the lace crochet ones – they’re just so pretty! I posted about this baby blue one last spring here and love how it looked with a chambray top. This year, I’m swooning over this gorgeous Chicwish lace pencil skirt. The blush color is so perfect and on trend, yet it’s elegant and classy! I’m currently wearing an XS and it fits true to size. The length was just right – hitting me at my knees on my 5’4″ frame.
Since the lace pencil skirt is classic, I wanted to mix it up with something trendy and flirty like this off the shoulder top. Isn’t it so cute? The top is from Asos, under $50, and I just adore the fun bell sleeves! I also love that for a white top, it’s not see-through – you just need to wear a strapless nude bra underneath. The fabric is also light but thicker than your regular cotton so the off the shoulder part doesn’t easily slide up your shoulders. I’m wearing an XS and it fits true to size. Since this is my first bell sleeve top, I’m excited to experiment and style it differently throughout this spring and summer!
