There’s always a first time for everything and today is my first time wearing an outfit with a corset and flare jeans! I love how classic this look is when pulled together with a white blazer.
This particular Adore Me corset is so pretty with it’s bright pink rose print. It also laces up in the back (which is what you’ll use to shape your body) and has cute silverware closures in front. The corset definitely helped me tighten up all the necessary areas to make it seem like I have an hour-glass body. One of the most surprising thing about wearing this corset for the first time is how comfortable it is! Not too constraining and very moveable. I’m wearing an XS here, but I would recommend sizing up at least one size since it runs small.
I didn’t think the time would ever come when I would wear flare jeans again since I’ve literally lived in only skinny jeans for the last eight years. But when I found this pair of BLANKNYC flare jeans on sale, I said hey why not? They’re making a come back anyways! I’m so glad I gave them a chance since these flare jeans balanced out this outfit with a corset (skinny jeans would make the outfit look too “tight” and not as classic). The jeans are also high rise and fit me perfectly. For reference, I’m wearing a size 25 (I’m typically in between a 25 and 26). I probably will have them hemmed after I wash and dry them.
Lastly, this Chelsea28 white blazer really pulls the whole outfit together (I’m wearing an XS). There’s something about flare jeans and a blazer that’s so classic. The white color is also perfect for the upcoming spring season! I’m sure you’ll be seeing me layer with this piece many more times as we transition to warmer weather!
