Hi everyone! Today’s post is a throwback Thursday (#TBT) to this Miami outfit for beach -ing (and everywhere in between)! I’m so excited that this Topshop embroidered off the shoulder dress got restocked for spring, this time in olive! Now if only Seattle could give me some beach weather…like NOW!
So I’ve had this off the shoulder dress for a year now and last wore it in the summer here. Obviously I didn’t buy any summer clothes during winter so when we vacationed in Miami in January, this was one of the few options I had to pack. And boy am I glad I brought it with me! Between you and I, I probably wore this off the shoulder dress about three times in the one week we were vacationing (shhh). This dress is so light and comfy and you could really wear it as a dress, as a beach cover up, or both!
I first wore this look to grab brunch at Yardbird, which I totally recommend if you’re ever in Miami or Vegas by the way. You have to get the “Chicken ‘n’ Watermelon ‘n’ Waffles” and the smoke brisket sandwich. Sooo good. To walk off this huge meal, we shopped around for a couple of hours and then headed for the beach. I had a swimsuit underneath the whole day so it was super easy to transition this outfit for beach -ing! I also wore this dress as a cover up all the other times we went to the beach.
