If you’re like me and prefer a laid back Valentine’s Day, this casual outfit would be perfect for you! I’m all about comfort and this outfit is nothing short of that!
I recently got this ruffle sweater and just adore the frilling hemline. It’s so girly and romantic! The sweater is also super soft and comfortable to wear, even to someone that is pretty sensitive to how itchy sweaters can be. The ruffle sweater comes in other pretty colors as well like white and violet. My only gripe about it is that it’s very short. I think it would look better and be more flattering if it was longer. However, with that being said, this ruffle sweater would look gorgeous with a high-waisted pencil skirt. I just wanted to style this in a “practical” way (my term for being lazy hehe), so pairing it with these high waisted jeans worked well. I just had to pull the sweater down from time to time. I’ll definitely be re-wearing this sweater again with a skirt whenever I feel like dressing up! hehe
To continue with the Valentine’s Day theme, I wanted to add something red and these London Rebel Ghillie lace up flats were perfect for the job! They do take some time to break in but they’re so cute and totally worth it! I mean how fun are the tassels at the end of the laces? AND they’re on sale right now for less than $50 and also come in black!
