Has a top ever made you gasp and right at that moment, you instantly knew you had to get it? This doesn’t happen to me very often, but that’s exactly how I felt about this Sheinside grey white color block ruffle blouse!
I wore this layered look sweater last weekend and it was perfect for grabbing brunch, doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, and running errands. I absolutely love the peplum fit – it’s my favorite type of fit since it’s so feminine and flattering! The ruffle blouse is only slightly loose so I would recommend staying true to your size. I think this sweater would look super nice for the office too – imagine wearing it with tailored skinny black pants and sleek black pointy pumps! So chic, right? I sometimes miss business casual attire, but I also enjoy the freedom of wearing whatever I want at work. The downside of this sweater is that it’s lined underneath with rough feeling fabric (almost like carpet) and gets somewhat itchy.
I styled this ruffle blouse with Topshop skinny ripped jeans (my favorite brand of jeans) and lace up pumps. I’m also eyeing these pretty lace up heels here and here. Everything is simple and classic, including the pearl necklace, so that the top can really shine in this outfit!
By the way, I still can’t believe Christmas is already over and today is the last Monday of 2015! I had such an amazing time this year with my family – it was the best one yet – and the Christmas jammies tradition is definitely here to stay! How was your holiday? Did you get everything you wanted?
